Planting 2,500 trees and shrubs at Lansallos

Twice a year, volunteers plant thousands of native trees and shrubs in the Capertee Valley to assist the recovery of the endangered Regent Honeyeater bird.  This time the planting was at Lansallos B&B and 2,500 plants were planted.

The volunteers come from many different places, mainly Sydney area and occasionally overseas visitor. The last couple of plantings a group, Friends of Taronga Zoo, arrive in a large tourist coach.

Plants cartage and watering is taken care of by A Sydney Landrover Club.
